Whether you're considering a hearing implant, preparing for surgery, or are already using your device, the questions you have will change over time. MED-EL offers three distinct ways to find what you need: Build private, locally relevant connections in the Hearpeers Community; learn from public discussions about hearing implants and MED-EL products in the Hearpeers Forum; and easily access MED-EL resources to improve your hearing experience at your own pace.

*In both the Community and the Forum, you can find discussions about a variety of topics including preparing for CI surgery; activation and rehabilitation; everyday hearing tips; gadgets and tools for CI users; CI technology and accessories; music, travel, and work; and life with a hearing implant.
The Hearpeers Community is MED-EL’s private social network for candidates, recipients, caregivers, Hearpeers Mentors, and MED-EL staff. Members can join groups and discussions, chat privately, share experiences, and connect with hearing implant users nearby and around the world.
Looking for one-on-one support from someone who has firsthand experience of life with a hearing implant? Hearpeers Mentors are trained volunteers who are happy to answer your nonmedical questions and share their own experiences.
