And for direct streaming with RONDO 3, there is the AudioStream Adapter. You can also stream bimodally with Android devices.*

The Implant: What’s Inside Also Counts

RONDO 3 is light, can run all day, has many design cover options, has a sleek protective cover for water-related activities, and is compatible with the convenient HearCare app.

But the audio processor is only half of the cochlear implant system. It’s very important to consider the other half: the implant itself. RONDO 3 is compatible with all MED-EL multichannel cochlear implants dating back to 1994.

One key element of a cochlear implant is the electrode array. MED-EL offers long, flexible electrode arrays that can reach further into the cochlea where lower frequencies are stimulated. This enables MED-EL cochlear implant recipients to perceive a full range of frequencies with an individualized cochlear implant array, providing them with the closest to natural hearing.

Without the technology of a well-designed internal implant and its electrode array, what the external audio processor can do for sound quality is limited. With MED-EL cochlear implant systems, you can have the best of both worlds.
