Fabio<\/strong>, semi finalis<\/strong>ta del concurso de talento Sound Sensation, es el cuarto de cinco hermanos<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cuando naci\u00f3 Fabio, sus dos hermanos mayores ya ten\u00edan aud\u00edfonos, por lo que su familia estuvo muy atenta a saber si Fabio tambi\u00e9n los necesitaba. Y efectivamente, cuando cumpli\u00f3 tres a\u00f1os le pusieron sus primeros aud\u00edfonos. Como estaba tan acostumbrado a ver estos aparatos en casa, le fue muy f\u00e1cil acostumbrarse a ellos.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo reaccion\u00f3 cuando le pusieron sus primeros aud\u00edfonos?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Fue muy emocionante, porque cuando le pusieron los aud\u00edfonos empez\u00f3 a dar golpes con los pies en el suelo sorprendido de c\u00f3mo sonaba, estuvo as\u00ed un buen rato. Fue descubriendo c\u00f3mo suena la lluvia, los grillos, el viento…<\/p>\n

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 se decidieron por un implante coclear?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Con el tiempo, la p\u00e9rdida auditiva fue aumentando su intensidad, Fabio necesitaba subir cada vez m\u00e1s el volumen del aud\u00edfono, hasta que en diciembre de 2020 le pusieron en lista de espera para el implante coclear.<\/p>\n

Todo el tiempo COVID ha sido especialmente dif\u00edcil, al principio con las clases on-line, se le dificultaba para entender a los profesores desde un altavoz. Y luego… \u00a1las mascarillas! \u201cmaldito invento que tapa la boca e impide leer los labios\u201d nos comentaron sus padres.<\/p>\n

El 2 de octubre de 2021 le pusieron su primer implante coclear, no fue al colegio hasta enero 2022 “para qu\u00e9 ir al cole sino voy a entender nada” dec\u00eda Fabio. \u00a0Le fueron enviando los temas a estudiar y los ejercicios a realizar, el colegio ha apoyado mucho en todo este dif\u00edcil momento a Fabio. En fin, estudiar a distancia como se hac\u00eda antes.<\/p>\n

\u00bfSe animar\u00e1n a un segundo implante?<\/strong><\/p>\n

En junio 2022 el m\u00e9dico ya le ha preguntado si quiere que le pongan el otro implante para el a\u00f1o que viene. Y Fabio ha dicho que s\u00ed. \u00a1Esperemos que la lista de espera sea menor esta vez!<\/p>\n

\u00bfCu\u00e1l ha sido el \u00faltimo desaf\u00edo con su implante coclear?<\/strong><\/p>\n

El \u00faltimo reto ha sido muy reciente, en julio de 2022 Fabio ha ido a un campamento. Incluso sabiendo que no iba a ser f\u00e1cil enterarse de lo que se cuenta, lo que pasa, de las conversaciones… asumi\u00f3 el reto sabiendo que iba a ser un tiempo de aprendizaje, tanto de las cosas que fueran bien, como de las dif\u00edciles.<\/p>\n

\u00a1Ha vuelto feliz! Providencialmente, el instructor que le toc\u00f3… \u00a1tambi\u00e9n era hipoac\u00fasico!<\/p>\n
